NEW// Laura launches own company, for info (click) Event News// The Brass Monkey at Toukley Sailing Club was my first regatta sailing a Radial since the World Championship in March 2008. It was a good three day intro back into racing and I won comfortably. F18 World Championship, Belgium. I crewed for my boyfriend Chris after we qualified at the Australian F18 Championship in February. The four days of the Nationals was all the experience I had before arriving in Belgium where we trained for a week so to finish 43rd/173 I think was pretty good. Completing 3 races in 35 knots on the final day rates as the most exhilarating day of my life, it was seriously high adrenaline stuff!!
